Yutung Industrial Limited | Updated: May 20, 2018

一、 rubber fender introduction
The rubber fender, also known as rubber armor, is a device that is installed on a wharf or ship to absorb the collision energy between the ship and the wharf or ship when it is docked or moored, and to protect the ship and the wharf from damage.

二、 the classification of rubber fenders
In general, rubber fenders can be divided into two categories according to structure: solid rubber fenders and floating rubber fenders.
Solid rubber fenders are pier ship anti-collision equipment with a long history of application and a wide range of applications. According to the stress condition of the rubber fender, it can be divided into shear type, rotary type and compression type; according to the fender structure, the solid rubber fender can be divided into D type, cone type, drum type, fan type, rectangular type, cylinder Fender and so on.
The floating rubber fenders are free to float on the surface of the water. According to the different internal buffering media, they can be divided into: inflatable rubber fenders and filled rubber fenders.
Inflatable rubber fenders use compressed air as the medium and consume energy by compressing the air to do work.
Foam-filled fenders are also known as solid polyurethane fenders, and internally cushioned media are mainly closed-cell foamed materials, such as foamed EVA, foamed polyurethane, and foamed rubber.
